Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
These terms cover buying an outdoor escape game on this site. We tried to write them so they can actually be read.
In effect from 29 August 2026.
1. Who sells the game
The game is run by Petr Preclík together with his co-authors ("we"). You can reach us at info@uniqni.cz and we usually reply the same day.
We are a small team from Trutnov, not a travel agency — the game is a leisure service, not a package tour.
2. What you are buying
You are buying access to one outdoor escape game for your whole team. It runs in your phone's browser, there is nothing to install, and we do not track your location.
One order means one game code for the whole team. Up to four phones can join; how many people stand around them is up to you.
3. How the contract is made
You place the order with the payment button. The contract between us is made when the payment goes through and we send you the game code.
You can correct any detail in the form before submitting. We do not store your order as a document you could download later — the purchase details are in the confirmation e-mail.
4. Price and payment
The price is shown with the game and covers the whole team, not each person. We are not VAT registered, so the price is final — no extra fees.
You pay by card through Stripe. Your card details never reach us; Stripe handles them.
5. Delivery
We e-mail your game code right after payment, usually within a minute. Please check your spam folder too.
If it has not arrived within a few minutes, write to us and we will send it by hand. Without the code you cannot play, so this is the first thing we deal with.
6. When you play
You can set off right after paying, or pick a different day during checkout. The game code is valid for the day you chose.
The two hours of play start when your team presses Start, not when you pay. The last possible start is set by daylight — the clues are on buildings and you cannot read them after dark. Once you are playing, you finish the game even if dusk falls meanwhile.
Plans changed? Write to us before you start and we will move the date free of charge.
7. Gift voucher
A gift voucher is bought without a date. It is valid for twelve months and is redeemed at checkout — the recipient enters the voucher code and picks a day that suits them.
A voucher can be redeemed once. We do not refund vouchers after they expire, but if you get in touch, we will work something out.
8. Withdrawing from the contract
A game with a chosen date is a leisure service provided on a specified date. Czech law gives no fourteen-day right of withdrawal for such services (Section 1837(j) of the Civil Code). That does not mean we will not help — we move dates free of charge, just write to us.
For a gift voucher, which has no date, you may withdraw within fourteen days of purchase and we refund you. That right ends once the voucher is redeemed and the game begins.
9. When something does not work
If the game breaks, the server goes down, or we spoil the experience in any other way, write to info@uniqni.cz and tell us what happened. We reply within two working days and sort it out — depending on what went wrong, you either finish the game another day or get your money back.
Small things we handle live during the game: write and we answer, weekends included.
10. Rules of play and responsibility
The game happens in public space with normal traffic around. Watch the road, do not climb statues or enter private property, and do not damage anything in the streets — no puzzle ever requires it.
You are responsible for yourself and for any children with you. Children under fifteen should play accompanied by an adult.
Share the game code only with the people you are playing with.
11. The game content is a copyrighted work
The verses, puzzles, photos, hints, story and the tools in the backpack are our own work. You are buying the right to play the game, not its content. Please do not copy, photograph for publication, transcribe or distribute any part of the game — not even after you finish.
This includes the solutions: please do not share answers, check words or walkthroughs on social media, in reviews or with other teams. Every published spoiler ruins the game for people who still have it ahead of them. A team photo from the route is of course fine — just keep the puzzle itself out of the frame.
12. Personal data
We process only what we need to deliver your code and run the game. We do not track your location. The details are in our privacy policy.
13. If we disagree
Please write to us first — almost everything is settled by a single e-mail.
If that is not enough, as a consumer you have the right to out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz), which also supervises consumer protection compliance.
14. Validity
We may change these terms; the version that applies to your order is the one published when you bought. Anything not covered here follows Czech law.
